The arguments grew louder and louder. Then some scroll keepers who were among the Separated Ones (Pharisees) stood up and voiced their argument forcefully. “We find no reason to condemn this man,” they cried out. “It could be that a spirit or spirit-messenger has spoken to him!”


This turned them against Many Feathers (Stephen), so they took hold of him and brought him before the Grand Council.


When he arrived at the lodge, the head holy men were waiting for him. They and the ruling elders of the people came to him. “By what right do you do these things?” they challenged. “Who gave you this right?”


On the following day the headmen, elders, and scroll keepers held a council in Village of Peace (Jerusalem).


The betrayer came into the garden, and with him came a band of lodge soldiers sent from the scroll keepers, head holy men, and Separated Ones (Pharisees), representing the elders of the Grand Council. The air was filled with the smell of burning torches as they entered the garden carrying clubs and long knives.


It was the scroll keepers and the Separated Ones (Pharisees). They brought the woman to Creator Sets Free (Jesus) and forced her down on the ground in front of him and all the people.


When the Separated Ones (Pharisees) and the head holy men heard what the crowds were saying about him, they sent the lodge soldiers to arrest him.


“How can it be that a wisdomkeeper and spiritual leader of the tribes of Wrestles with Creator (Israel) does not understand these things?


When the head holy men and the scroll keepers realized that this story was about them, they looked for a way to arrest him, but they could not, for they were afraid of what the people might do.


Creator Sets Free (Jesus) then began to instruct his followers that the True Human Being must suffer many things. The council of elders, the head holy men, and the scroll keepers would turn their faces from him. He would then be killed, and after three days he would return from the world of the dead. He said this openly to all his followers.


As the sun began to rise, the head holy men and council elders laid out their plans to kill Creator Sets Free (Jesus).


Right then, while Creator Sets Free (Jesus) was speaking, a crowd of people stormed into the garden. Speaks Well Of (Judas), one of the twelve, was leading the way. Along with the betrayer came the large crowd, sent from the head holy men and elders of the tribal council, carrying clubs and long knives. The air was filled with the smell of burning torches as the crowd pushed their way forward.


At that time the head holy men and the elders of the people gathered in the lodge of Hollow in the Rock (Caiaphas), the chief holy man.


The children came to him there, shouting for joy, “Hosanna to the descendant of Much Loved One (David)!” The children then made a circle around him and laughed, danced, and sang songs. But when the head holy men and the scroll keepers saw the wonderful things he did and heard the children shouting and singing, they burned with anger


He smiled and said to them, “Every scroll keeper who has learned to walk in the ways of Creator’s good road is like the head of a family, an elder who opens the medicine pouch of his heart, sharing wisdom that is both new and old, bringing new understanding to the old ways.”


When Chief Looks Brave heard this, he and all who lived in Village of Peace (Jerusalem) were troubled.


“In House of Bread (Bethlehem), the village of the great chief Much Loved One (David),” they answered. “This is what the ancient prophet said:
