As the men with him turned to go, Stands on the Rock (Peter) spoke without thinking. “Wisdomkeeper!” he said. “This is a good place to stay. Let us make three tipis—one for you, one for Drawn from the Water (Moses), and one for Great Spirit Is Creator (Elijah).”


“O Great Father, I want the ones you have given to me to share this place of beauty that I have with you, so they can see the power of your love for me, a love that we shared before you created all things.


In this village there is no need for the sun or the moon to shine its light, for the light comes from the beauty of the Great Spirit shining through the Lamb.


Much-loved friends, we are now Creator’s children. It is not yet clear what we will be. But we know that when the Chosen One appears, we will be like him, for we will see him as he truly is.


I am being pulled from both directions. On the one hand, I desire to go and be with the Chosen One, which would be far better than staying here in this world.


Then before their eyes two ancestors appeared—the lawgiver Drawn from the Water (Moses) and the ancient prophet Great Spirit Is Creator (Elijah). They were talking with Creator Sets Free (Jesus). They all stared in wide-eyed wonder, not knowing what to say. Then Stands on the Rock (Peter) found his voice.


But now it was almost time for the Festival of Shelters in Village of Peace (Jerusalem), which all the tribes participated in. This festival was celebrated at the end of the harvest. The tribes were instructed to make temporary shelters from tree branches. In this way they remembered the time after they had been set free from their captivity in Black Land (Egypt), when their ancestors migrated in the desert wilderness under the care of the lawgiver, Drawn from the Water (Moses).
