“It is because of your weak faith,” he answered and then said to them, “I speak from my heart, if you had faith like a mustard seed, you could tell this mountain to move from here to there and it would do what you say. Nothing would be too hard for you.

“If you had faith as small as a mustard seed,” he replied, “you could also say to this mulberry tree, ‘Come out by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would do what you say.


“I speak from my heart. Anyone who says to this mountain, ‘Lift up and go into the great waters,’ with a heart that believes and does not doubt that what he says will happen, then it will be done.


Creator Sets Free (Jesus) looked at them and said, “This is only possible with the help of the Great Spirit.”


See! There is nothing too hard for the Great Spirit.” She looked bravely into the face of the messenger.


“I speak from my heart, if you put all your trust in the Great Spirit and do not doubt that the Knower of Hearts hears you,” he answered them, “not only will you do what was done with this fig tree, but even if you speak to this mountain and say, ‘Be lifted up and go into the great waters,’ it will happen.


“What do you mean ‘If I am able’?” Creator Sets Free (Jesus) answered him. “Nothing is too hard for the one with faith!”


I may have prophetic powers and the ability to see into sacred mysteries and understand all things. I might even have faith strong enough to make mountains move. But if I fail to love, I am nothing.


Creator Sets Free (Jesus) then told them more stories about the good road: “The good road from above is also like a man who plants a single grain of mustard seed,


He looked at her and said, “Do you not remember what I told you? If you believed, you would see the shining-greatness of the Great Spirit.” Head Woman (Martha) could say nothing. She watched as


“It is like a single grain of mustard seed, one of the smallest of seeds. But when planted in a garden, it grows larger than all the other plants and takes over the garden. It becomes a great tree with many branches, large enough for the winged ones who soar in the sky to find lodging in its shade.”


So we can see that our tribal ancestors did not enter into Creator’s place of rest because they failed to trust him.


“The people of this generation are bent and twisted with no faith! How much longer will I have to put up with you?” Creator Sets Free (Jesus) cried out. Then he said, “Bring the boy to me.”


The Spirit gives a different person great faith and still another healing powers by the same Spirit.


As they walked down the mountainside, he instructed them to tell no one what they had seen until after the True Human Being had come back to life from the dead. During the long walk down the mountain, the three followers had a lot to think about. Perhaps they were wondering about the ancient prophecies and how they related to what they had just seen.


“Why are you full of fear?” he asked them, “Is your faith so small?” He stood up and spoke sharply to the wind and the raging water. At his words a great peace fell upon the surface of the waters.


Later, when Creator Sets Free (Jesus) was alone with his followers, they asked him, “Why could we not force the evil spirit out of him?”


“You must put all your trust in the Great Spirit,” Creator Sets Free (Jesus) replied.


“Come!” he said to him without any hesitation. With reckless abandon, Stands on the Rock (Peter) climbed over the side of the canoe and began to walk on the water toward him. The wind howled and the waves splashed against him as he made his way toward Creator Sets Free (Jesus).
