The Giver of Life has set us free from the dark ruler of this world. He has brought us safely onto his good road to walk it together with Creator’s much-loved Son.


We know that we are children of the Great Spirit. We know that the evil one rules over the ways of this world.


The fifth spirit-messenger poured out his smudge bowl on the wild beast’s seat of power. And all that the wild beast ruled over was covered in darkness. The people the wild beast ruled over gnawed their tongues in pain


The great fiery-red sea serpent was thrown down from the spirit-world above. He is the ancient trickster snake, who is also called the evil one and Accuser (Satan). He is the one who takes the whole world down a false path. He was thrown down to the ground, along with all his spirit-messengers.


Their war-chief is the spirit-messenger of the deep dark underworld. The name of the war-chief in our tribal language is Abaddon, meaning Destroyer, and in the language of the Outside Nations his name is Apollyon, also meaning Destroyer.


For the ones who do not believe have been blinded in their minds by the evil spirit-ruler of this present world. This blindness keeps them from seeing the light that shines when the good story is told about the beauty of the Chosen One, who is the only one who fully represents the Great Spirit.


The final decision about this world will come because Accuser (Satan)—the ruler of this world—has been found guilty.


There is only a little time left for me to talk with you. The dark ruler of this world is coming. His power over me is nothing,


It is a sign to you that it is now time for the Great Spirit to make his final decision about this world. The evil one who now rules this world will be defeated and thrown down.


“Get away from me, Accuser (Satan)!” he responded. “For it is written in the Sacred Teachings, ‘The Great Spirit is the only one to honor and serve.’”


But the spiritual leaders from the Separated Ones (Pharisees) said, “It is the ruler of evil spirits who gives him the power to force out spirits.”


“The seed in this story is the message from the Great Spirit about his good road. “The seed planted on the village pathway represents the ones who hear but do not understand the message. The evil trickster sneaks up and snatches it from their hearts.
