If what your hand does causes you to stumble off the path, then cut it off and throw it away! It would be better to live this life with only one hand than to go with two hands into the Valley of Smoldering Fire—a fire that cannot be put out.

“Then the Chief will say to the goats on his left, ‘Go away from me, you who have bad hearts, into the fire that burns everything up, made for the evil trickster snake and his messengers.


We are surrounded by a great cloud of truth tellers who have shown us what it means to trust the Great Spirit. So let us lay to the side everything that weighs us down and the broken ways that so easily wrap around our legs to trip us. And let us run as if we are in a long-distance race, setting a steady pace and heading toward the goal.


But I tell you, everyone who is angry toward a fellow human being will have to give an answer to the tribal council. If they speak with disrespect to someone, saying, ‘You hollow head!’ they will also face the tribal council. If they curse someone by saying ‘You damn fool!’ they may end up in the Valley of Smoldering Fire.


For the ones who belong to Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One have nailed their weak and broken humanity to his cross. This puts to death all their wrong desires and broken ways.


His harvest basket is in his hands, to separate the grain from the husks. He will store the good grain in his barn, but the husks he will burn up with a fire no one can put out.”


It instructs us to turn away from all that does not honor our Creator and from the desire to walk in the ways of this world. It instructs us to walk with straight and firm steps on a good and sacred path in this present world.


So let the death of the Chosen One kill in you all that is of the ways of this world. These are things such as improper sexual desires, spiritual impurity, uncontrolled emotions that lead to wrong desires, evil ways, and always wanting more than you need. These desires come from listening to lying spirits.


Instead, invite the poor, the blind, and the crippled, who cannot repay you.


So turn away from hatred, lying, cheating, and any false face you have been wearing. Stop bad-mouthing others and being jealous.


I am rough on my body and bring it under my power, so that after I have instructed others, I myself will not grow weary and drop out of the race.


“When the messenger told the man their answer, he became angry and said, ‘Waste no time! Go out into the village pathways and invite the ones who are poor, crippled, blind and lame.’


but, to keep from insulting them, we will pay. Go to the lake and open the mouth of the first fish you catch, and you will find a silver coin. Use that to pay the dues for both of us.”
