“The ones who hold on to their lives will not find life, but the ones who are willing to let go of their lives, for me and for the good story I bring, will find the true life.

I do all of this so I can tell everyone the good story, so that together we may share in its blessings.


So do not be timid in telling others about our Honored Chief or that I am in prison because of him. But walk with me on this road of suffering for the sake of the good story as Creator gives us strength.


“The ones who cling to their life’s belongings will lose their own lives, but whoever is willing to leave everything behind will survive.


The ones who hold on to their lives will not find life, but the ones who are willing to let go of their lives, for me and my message, will find the true life.


“All who have given up their homes and families because they represent me will receive back much more than they have lost, and the life of the world to come that never fades away will be theirs.” For they now belong to Creator’s sacred family, which will care for them.


The ones who care only for their own life will fail to find life, but the ones who will lay down their life for me will find true life.


That is why I can take joy in those things that show how weak I am. Others can insult me, mistreat me, hunt me down, and make things hard for me, all because of my trust in the Chosen One. For when I am weak, Creator’s strength becomes my own.


I will show him how much he must suffer in order to represent who I am.”

Creator’s holy ones won the victory over him by the lifeblood shed by the Lamb and by boldly telling his story, and, when faced with death, they loved him more than they loved their own lives.


The time will come when all will hate you because you represent me and carry my name. But remember, it is the ones who never give up and make it to the end of the road who will be rescued and made whole.


Do not fear the suffering you must soon face. The evil trickster snake will put you to the test. I tell you, he will have some of you thrown into a prison house, and you will walk a troubled path for ten days. Even if you must face death, stay true to the path, and I will honor you with a headdress of life that has many feathers.


“Why are you weeping and breaking my heart?” he said to them. “I am representing our Honored Chief, Creator Sets Free (Jesus). I am ready not only to be bound but even to die for him in Village of Peace (Jerusalem).”


“Honored one,” I said to him, “you must know.” Then he said to me, “These are the ones who have come through the time of great trouble and suffering. They have washed their regalia in the lifeblood shed by the Lamb, making their regalia pure white.


Women received their loved ones back from the dead. Others were tortured, refusing to be set free, knowing they would be honored when the dead are raised.


But my life means nothing to me. I only want to finish walking the road the Maker of Life has set before me, telling the good story of the gift of his great kindness as I follow Creator Sets Free (Jesus), my Honored Chief.
