Their prayers are empty words and their ceremonies are for show. The things they tell others to do are only rules made up by weak human beings.’”


All who represent themselves as spiritual but do not keep their tongue under control are only fooling themselves—their spirituality is worthless.


The problem is, these things they make rules about eventually get used up and ultimately fade away, because they are only rules and instructions made up by weak human beings.


“When you pray, do not be like the people from the Outside Nations, who use empty words over and over again, thinking their many words will help them be heard. Your Father, the Creator, already knows what you need even before you ask.


But stay away from foolish arguments about ancestors, from things that cause division, and from conflicts about our tribal law. Arguments like these are worthless and will not help anyone.


To all who hear the words of this prophecy, I speak from my heart, “If anyone adds anything to them, Creator will add to that person the disasters found in this book.


Are you the kind of shallow person who needs to be shown over and over again that faith without good deeds has no worth?


If the Chosen One has not risen, then the story we tell means nothing, and your faith is a dried-up spring.


So then, my much-loved family members, you must stand strong, with your feet planted firmly on the ground. Never give up working hard for our Honored Chief, for you know that what- ever you do for him will never fade away.
