Make sure no one steals your faith from you with fine-sounding words spoken with hollow tongues. These people make up their own traditions as they follow the lying spirits of the ways of this world, instead of simply trusting in the Chosen One.


For you know that the price to set you free was not paid with silver or gold or anything that can fade away. It was the lifeblood of the Chosen One, a spotless lamb with no defect, that set you free from empty ways handed down to you from your ancestors.


So the Separated Ones (Pharisees) and the scroll keepers asked him, “Why do your followers not walk in the traditions of the elders and ceremonially wash their hands before eating?”


The Separated One (Pharisee) was upset that he did not ceremonially wash his hands before eating.


There were six traditional stone water pots, used for purification ceremonies, that could hold large amounts of water.
