But when they stood against him and spoke evil of him, he shook the dust from his clothes. “You have decided your own fate!” he told them. “I have done all I can do. From now on I will go to the Outside Nations.”


In the same way, Village of Bad Spirits (Sodom) and Village of Deep Fear (Gomorrah) and the small villages nearby gave themselves over to sexual impurity and to twisted and shameful ways. These villages, which were punished with a fire that burned on and on, are now set before us as a warning against such things.


Love is made complete in us so that we will stand without fear on the day Creator decides who has done right or wrong. For in this world, when we love as he loves, we are just like him.


By the same word, the skies above and the earth below that now exist will be brought to an end by fire. They will remain until the great day of deciding arrives, which will bring an end to those who walk in evil ways.


So then, all of these stories show us that the Honored One knows how to rescue his holy ones from trouble and hold the bad-hearted ones captive until the day comes when he will decide their punishment.


Creator decided that the people of Village of Bad Spirits (Sodom) and the people of Village of Deep Fear (Gomorrah) needed to be punished for their evil ways. So he covered them with burning ashes. He left those ruined villages as a warning for all who would walk in evil ways.


The good story that I tell says there will come a day when the Knower of Hearts, through Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One, will bring to light what is good and bad about the secrets hidden in every human heart.


Because your hearts are unwilling to bend to the ways of the Great Spirit, your lives are becoming filled with the things that make the Great Spirit angry. A day is coming when Creator’s great anger against these things and his decision to do what is right will be made clear.


If no one in that village welcomes you, when you go from there, shake the dust from your moccasins to warn them that you have done all that you can do.”


But I tell you, when the day comes for the final decision, human beings will have to give an answer for every worthless word spoken.
