“Every plant that has not been planted by my Father from above will be pulled out by the roots,” he answered.


The ones who do not stay joined to me are broken off and dry up, and then they are gathered up and used to make a fire.


He responded by speaking to the tree, “No one will eat fruit from you ever again!” And his followers heard what he said.

These bad-hearted ones have no respect for the love you share when they feast with you at your sacred family gatherings. They are dark spots and stains on your gatherings, caring only for themselves. They are clouds with no rain, blown about by the winds. They are trees that have no fruit at the harvest moon. They are twice dead, with their roots plucked from the ground.


But if the ground grows only thorns and thistles, it has failed in its purpose, and will soon be seen as cursed and its crops burned.


The next morning, as he was returning to Village of Peace (Jerusalem), he became hungry.
