He looked at her and said, “Do you not remember what I told you? If you believed, you would see the shining-greatness of the Great Spirit.” Head Woman (Martha) could say nothing. She watched as


“I am the rising from the dead and the life that follows,” he told her. “The ones who trust me will live again, even after death. Death will never be the end of the ones who are alive and trust in me. Do you believe what I am saying to you?”


But Creator Sets Free (Jesus) paid no attention to what was said. “Do not fear!” he said to the headman. “Trust in me alone, and all will be well.”


Creator Sets Free (Jesus) looked at her with kindness in his eyes and said, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”


The Sacred Teachings tell us, “I have made you the father of many nations.” And in the eyes of the Great Spirit he is our father, for he put his trust in the Great Spirit, the one who gives life to the dead and speaks into being things that are not yet as if they already were.


“What do you mean ‘If I am able’?” Creator Sets Free (Jesus) answered him. “Nothing is too hard for the one with faith!”


and he did not stumble from the path as he kept walking toward Creator’s promise. His trust grew even stronger as he gave honor to the Great Spirit.


When they came to the house, Creator Sets Free (Jesus) did not permit anyone to go in with him except the child’s parents and his most trusted followers—Stands on the Rock (Peter), He Shows Goodwill (John), and He Takes Over (James).
