A man named He Gives Light (Jairus), the headman of the local gathering house, pushed his way through the crowd and fell down on his knees in front of Creator Sets Free (Jesus) and begged him to come to his house.

A man named Curly Hair (Crispus), who was headman of the gathering house, put his trust in our Honored Chief, and both he and his family participated in the purification ceremony. When others who lived in Village of Pleasure (Corinth) heard about this, they also believed and participated in the purification ceremony.


After the people read out loud from the Law and the Prophets, the headmen of the gathering house sent a message to them. “Fellow Tribal Members,” the message said, “If there is anything you want to say to encourage the people, please speak up.”

Your little girl has died.” The man’s heart fell to the ground, and grief began to creep over him.


When he took the scroll, the four living spirit animals and the twenty-four elders all humbled themselves before the Lamb to honor him. They each held a stringed musical instrument and a golden smudge bowl full of sweet-smelling smoke, which are the prayers of Creator’s holy people.


The Tribal Members then took Strong Protector (Sosthenes), the headman of the gathering house, and began to beat him right in front of the governor. But he turned his head the other way.


Since Almond Tree (Lydda) is near to Village of Beauty (Joppa), the followers there sent two men to Stands on the Rock (Peter), begging him to come right away.

When she found Creator Sets Free (Jesus), she said to him, “Wisdomkeeper, if you had been here, my brother would still be with us.


He had an only daughter, about twelve winters old, who was dying. As Creator Sets Free (Jesus) went with the man, the crowd also trailed along, pressing in around him from all sides.
