When the spiritual leader saw this, he thought to himself, “If this man were a true prophet he would know who is touching him. He would see what kind of woman this is—an outcast!”


Then great respect and awe filled the hearts of all who were there. They gave honor to the Great Spirit for giving such authority to human beings.

When they saw the healings, the crowds were filled with wonder and amazement and gave honor and thanks to the Great Spirit of the tribes of Wrestles with Creator (Israel). Creator Sets Free (Jesus) spent the next three days healing the sick and injured. People came from the Ten Villages (Decapolis) and surrounding area, where many people from Outside Nations lived. The number of people had grown to over four thousand.


And they gave the Great Spirit the honor for what happened to me.


When Creator Shows Kindness (Ananias) heard this, he fell to the ground and breathed out his last breath. Great fear and awe fell on all who heard what had happened.


The tribal leaders could not agree, so they said to the blind man, “You are the one he healed. What do you have to say about him?” The man answered them, “He must be a prophet from the Great Spirit.”


The people began to realize what had happened. This was a powerful sign that Creator Sets Free (Jesus) had just performed. They began to wonder who this man was who could do such amazing things. Like wildfire, the hopes and dreams of many generations began to rise in their hearts and minds. They were saying to one another, “This must be the Prophet, spoken of long ago, who would come into the world!”


“Oh! I see. You are a prophet!” she said back to him.


so they asked Gift of Goodwill (John), “Why do you perform the purification ceremony if you are not the Chosen One, or Great Spirit Is Creator (Elijah), or the Prophet who is to come?”


“Who are you, then?” they demanded. “The prophet from long ago, Great Spirit Is Creator (Elijah)?” “No,” he answered, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet who is to come?” they asked. “No,” was his answer again.


“What things are you talking about?” he asked. “About Creator Sets Free (Jesus) from Seed Planter Village (Nazareth). He was a prophet from the Great Spirit, with powerful medicine, who did many good things among all the people.


“Some say you are Gift of Goodwill (John) who performed the purification ceremony. Others say you might be Great Spirit Is Creator (Elijah), or one of the prophets of old come back to life from the dead.” Creator Sets Free (Jesus) lowered his voice and spoke with a more serious tone.


Then the people from the territory of Honored in the End (Gadarenes) begged Creator Sets Free (Jesus) to go away from their land.


When One Who Hears (Simon), along with his fishing partners—He Takes Over (James) and He Shows Goodwill (John), the sons of Gift of Creator (Zebedee)—saw what happened, they were filled with wonder and awe at the great catch of fish. One Who Hears (Simon) fell to his knees in front of Creator Sets Free (Jesus). “Wisdomkeeper!” he groaned. “Go away from me! For I am a bad-hearted and unholy man.” “Do not fear!” Creator Sets Free (Jesus) told him. “From now on your nets will catch two-leggeds.”


The women ran from the burial cave to bring the good news to his followers. Their hearts were trembling with fear and great joy.


“Drawn from the Water (Moses) was the same one who said to the descendants of Wrestles with Creator (Israel), ‘The Great Spirit will raise up a prophet like me from among your own people.’


Every lodge will fall, and not even one pole, log, or stone will be left standing against another. All of this will happen because you did not know it was your time for the Great Spirit to visit you.”


To the amazement of all, he sat up and began to talk. Creator Sets Free (Jesus) then gave him back to his mother. Her weeping turned to joy as she threw her arms around her son and kept kissing his face.
