They also nailed two thieves to their own crosses, one to his right, the other to his left.


Then they also nailed two outlaws to their crosses, one on his right side, the other on his left.


There they nailed his hands and feet to the cross, along with the two others, and placed his cross between the two of them.


for there is another prophecy in the Sacred Teachings that tells what will happen to me. It says, ‘He was numbered with the rebels.’ This also must find its full meaning and come to an end in me.”


This means we must keep our eyes on Creator Sets Free (Jesus), the trailblazer of our spiritual ways, the one who was first to reach the end of the trail. The joy that lay before him gave him the strength to suffer on the cross and willingly bear its shame. He now sits at Creator’s right hand in the place of greatest honor.


“If they do this to a green tree, what will they do to the trees that are dead and dry?”


It has taken me down a troubled path, one that includes being put in chains as an outlaw. But Creator’s message can never be locked up.
