When they brought Creator Sets Free (Jesus) back to Spear of the Great Waters (Pilate), he then gathered the head holy men, the spiritual leaders, and the people together

Spear of the Great Waters (Pilate) shook his head and said, “What is truth?”


“Why? What wrong has he done to deserve this?” he said back to them. But they only shouted louder and stronger, “Nail him to the cross!”


Spear of the Great Waters (Pilate) stood before the crowd again and said, “I bring to you the one in whom I have found no guilt.” Creator Sets Free (Jesus) was brought forward, blood flowing down his bruised face.


The people watched as the spiritual leaders mocked him. “He set others free,” they said, “why can he not free himself, if he is Creator’s Chosen One?”


The head holy men and other leaders handed him over to the People of Iron (Romans) to be put to death on the cross.


A man named Conquers the People (Nicodemus) came to Creator Sets Free (Jesus) in secret at night. He was one of the Separated Ones (Pharisees) and a headman of the tribes of Wrestles with Creator (Israel) who sat in the Great Council. Out of the shadows he whispered, “Wisdomkeeper, we know the Great Spirit sent you to teach us. No one can perform powerful signs like these unless the Maker of Life walks with him.”


Look, he speaks boldly to all, and they have nothing to say to him. Does our tribal council think he truly is the Chosen One?


“Does even one tribal leader or Separated One (Pharisee) believe in him?


But even so, many tribal leaders did believe in him but would not tell anyone because they feared the Separated Ones (Pharisees). They knew if they openly confessed their faith in him they would be put out of the gathering houses.


“Fellow Tribal Members,” he said, “I understand that neither you nor your leaders knew what they were doing when they had Creator Sets Free (Jesus)killed.


On the following day the headmen, elders, and scroll keepers held a council in Village of Peace (Jerusalem).


The Holy Spirit rose up inside Stands on the Rock (Peter). “Headmen and elders among the people,” he said with boldness,


“It was the people who live in Village of Peace (Jerusalem), and their leaders, who had him put to death because they did not recognize him. Even though they failed to understand the words of the prophets, which are read out loud on every Day of Resting, they fulfilled these words when they had Spear of the Great Waters (Pilate) put him to death—even though he had done nothing wrong.
