“‘Now bring to me the ones who opposed me before the council,’ he said with authority. ‘They will now have to die, while I watch, because they have made themselves my enemies.’” He told them this so they would see that the good road would not come in the way they expected.

“It was of great importance,” they said with strong hearts, “that we would bring Creator’s message first to you who are our Tribal Members. But now that you have shown no respect for this message and decided that you are not worthy of the life of the world to come, we will turn to the people from the Outside Nations.

They answered him, “He will bring those bad-hearted ones to a bad end and then rent out the vineyard to others who will be honorable and give him the share of the harvest he deserves.”

“When the chief found out what they had done, he was filled with rage and sent his warriors to kill those murderers and burn their village to the ground.

“When harvest time came, the tribal member who owned the vineyard sent trusted messengers to gather his share of the grapes,

“What do you think the owner of the vineyard will do?” Creator Sets Free (Jesus) asked the people who were listening. He waited for an answer, but no one said a word. Then he said, “He will return, put those dishonorable men to death, and give the vineyard to others.

“So they dragged him out to the edge of the vineyard, murdered him, and left his dead body there.” Creator Sets Free (Jesus) turned to the spiritual leaders. “What will the owner of the vineyard do?” he asked. He waited for an answer, but no one said a word.

Never! Creator will be true to his promise, even if every human being fails to be true to him. This is what the Sacred Teachings say about Creator, “You will be true to your word and always decide what is best.”

This is a weak way of thinking, for if this were true, then how could Creator ever make things right again for the whole world?

Does this new way of trusting in Creator Sets Free (Jesus) undo our tribal law? Not at all! Instead, it shows us the law’s true meaning and purpose.

This kind of thinking takes us nowhere! How can we who have died to our bad hearts and broken ways continue to walk that path?

What then does this mean? Should we continue to walk in broken ways since we are not under our tribal law, but under the gift of Creator’s great kindness? Let that kind of thinking fall to the ground!

But if you think I am saying our tribal law is at fault or that it is the reason we walk in our broken ways, you are not thinking straight. What I am saying is that the law shows us how bad our broken ways have become. I would not have known that some desires are wrong if the law had not said, “Do not desire what belongs to another.”

Does that mean this good law brought death to me? No! It was my broken ways that did it, by using the law to stir up temptation in me, so I could see how bad my broken ways truly were.

Do not get the wrong idea. We are not saying that the Great Spirit chooses unfairly.

If you think that I am saying the Great Spirit has turned away from his own people in the tribes of Wrestles with Creator (Israel), you are mistaken. I am proof that he did not. I myself am a Tribal Member, a descendant of Father of Many Nations (Abraham), from the tribe of Son of My Right Hand (Benjamin).

Have our Tribal People then stumbled with no way to get back up again? I tell you they have not! Creator knew ahead of time that they would fail, and he knew their failure would open the way for the people of all Nations to be set free and made whole. One reason the Great Spirit did this was to make the tribes of Wrestles with Creator (Israel) jealous by giving the people from the Outside Nations equal standing in his eyes.

Should I take a part of the body of the Chosen One and join it to someone who trades the use of their body for possessions? May it never be so!

“If we Tribal Members, while seeking to be in good standing by trusting in the Chosen One, are also found to be outcasts and guilty of wrongdoing, can it be said that the Chosen One is leading us into broken ways? May it never be!

Does this mean that our tribal law is against Creator’s promises? It does not! For if laws had the power to give life, then good standing with Creator would have come through our tribal law.

May I never brag except in what our Honored Chief, Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One, has done by dying on the cross. For I was nailed to the cross with the Chosen One. That is how I died to the ways of this world and how the ways of this world died to me.
