“Share your possessions with the ones in need, and you will have money pouches that never wear out, filled with possessions from the spirit-world above.


But the one whose spirituality is pure and spotless before our Father the Great Spirit takes care of widows and orphans, and keeps himself free from the evil ways of this world.


To the pure, all things are pure. But to those who are unclean because they do not believe the truth, nothing is pure, for both in their minds and deep within their hearts they have been made unclean.


And do not forget to do good and share with those who are in need, for these are also sacrificial gifts that make Creator’s heart glad.


Then the Voice spoke to him a second time, “What the Great Spirit has made clean, you must not consider impure.”


“So then, use the possessions of this world to help others in need, who will become your friends. Then when possessions run out, these new friends of Creator’s good road will always welcome you into their homes.


The Great Spirit will not fail to do what is right. He will not forget how hard you have worked and how much love you have shown in representing him. He sees how you have served his holy ones, in the past and even now.


If you have a willing heart, it is accepted that you give from what you have and not from what you do not have.


Pure of Heart (Zacchaeus) stood up to the crowd and said to Creator Sets Free (Jesus), “Hear me, Wisdomkeeper. I will give half my possessions to the ones who have none. If I have cheated anyone, I will give them back four times as much.”


“Then only one thing remains,” Creator Sets Free (Jesus) told him, “Take all of your possessions and give them to the ones who have none. Then you will have great possessions in the spirit-world above. And then come, walk the good road with me.”


Give to the one who asks for help, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.


The ones among you who have stolen and taken what is not theirs must learn to do good, working hard with their hands. In this way they will not only have enough for themselves but also something to help others.


So the followers who lived in Stands Against (Antioch) decided to send help to the sacred family in the Land of Promise (Judea)—as much as they could spare.


You can help the poor any time, for they will always be with you, but I will not.


“After being away for a number of winters, I returned to Village of Peace (Jerusalem). I brought gifts for the poor of my nation, as well as ceremonial offerings.
