These people keep grumbling and complaining, even as they try to satisfy all of their own broken desires. They speak big, boastful words and use flattery to get what they want from others.

With empty boasts and puffed-up words, they prey on people’s weak human desires and lure them back into the wrong ways of those they have just escaped from.


This is true most of all for those who give themselves over to their bad-hearted, corrupt desires and who have no respect for authority. These bad-hearted ones are reckless, stubborn, and puffed up with pride. They do not even tremble with respect when they speak evil against spirit-beings of shining-greatness.


Do everything without grumbling or arguing.


They also have chosen to live out their remaining days in these weak human bodies doing what the Great Spirit wants and not following broken human desires.


They keep stirring up trouble between people whose minds have wandered away from the truth. They even think that walking in the ways of the Great Spirit is a path to getting more and more possessions.


And we must not grumble, as some of our ancestors did, who were then destroyed by the spirit-messenger of death.


They told you that in the time of the end there would be scoffers who would follow their own selfish desires.


I want to remind you, first of all, that in the last days there will come scoffers who will laugh with scorn. Following their own bad hearts,


So then, my much-loved ones, you who are strangers and outsiders to the ways of this world, I speak to you now with strong words. Stay far away from the weak and broken desires within you that make war against who you are.


When he comes, he will carry out the decision he has made against the ones who have followed their bad hearts and broken ways. Their shameful ways will be exposed along with all the insulting things they have spoken against the Great Spirit.”


Because you are the children of the Great Spirit, follow all his instructions. Do not walk with a bad heart, as you did in the past when you did not know the things you know now.


So I say to you, if you keep walking by the Spirit’s guidance, your weak and broken desires will no longer lead you down the wrong path.


Creator Sets Free (Jesus) knew in his spirit what was troubling them, so he said, “Do these words make you stumble from the path?


For a day will come when people will not listen to good teaching. They will gather around themselves teachers who will tell them what their itching ears want to hear.


not with uncontrolled desire, like the people from the Outside Nations who do not know the Great Spirit.


For the ones who belong to Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One have nailed their weak and broken humanity to his cross. This puts to death all their wrong desires and broken ways.

But when the people saw this, they shook their heads. “What is he doing?” they grumbled out loud. “Why would he go into the house of an outcast?”


But the Separated Ones (Pharisees) and the scroll keepers would complain about this. They would say things like, “This man welcomes outcasts to join him at the table and eat with him.”


When the Separated Ones (Pharisees) and the scroll keepers saw Creator Sets Free (Jesus) eating with outcasts, they complained to his followers, saying, “Why does your wisdomkeeper keep company with tribal tax collectors and outcasts?”
