Many of the people chose to trust in him. They said, “When the Chosen One comes, will he do more powerful signs than this man has done?”

But even so, many tribal leaders did believe in him but would not tell anyone because they feared the Separated Ones (Pharisees). They knew if they openly confessed their faith in him they would be put out of the gathering houses.


The large crowd was amazed and said, “Could this be the promised descendant of chief Much Loved One (David)?”


Even Man Who Hears (Simon) believed and participated in the ceremony. After the ceremony he stayed close to Lover of Horses (Philip), for he was amazed at the powerful signs and miracles he saw.


When many of the local Tribal Members saw what Creator Sets Free (Jesus) had done, they put their trust in him.


Then some of the Separated Ones (Pharisees) said, “This man, who does not honor the Day of Resting, cannot be from the Great Spirit.” But others were saying, “How can someone with a bad heart perform powerful signs such as these?”


In the same way that a body has no life without the spirit, so faith has no life without deeds.


for because of him many of the Tribal Members believed in Creator Sets Free (Jesus), that he was the Chosen One.


A great crowd of people followed him because they saw the powerful signs he performed, healing the sick.


Soon many people from the woman’s village in High Place (Samaria) arrived. Many believed in him because the woman had said, “He knows everything about me.”


This was the first of the signs through which Creator Sets Free (Jesus) displayed his power. When his new followers saw this, their trust in him grew stronger. All of this happened in the territory of Circle of Nations (Galilee) at Village of Reeds (Cana).


“The rocky ground represents the ones who hear and receive the teaching with glad hearts, but because they have no roots, their faith is shallow and does not last. As soon as the teaching brings them trouble or opposition, they stumble and fall away.


“Come and see this man who knows everything about me. Could he be the Chosen One?”


Look, he speaks boldly to all, and they have nothing to say to him. Does our tribal council think he truly is the Chosen One?
