First Nations Version

Creator Sets Free (Jesus) was taken from the house of Hollow in the Rock (Caiaphas) to the lodge of the governor of the People of Iron (Romans). The tribal leaders stayed outside, for they did not want to become ceremonially unclean by going inside. It was early in the morning, and many of them had not yet eaten the ceremonial meal of Passover.

It was time again for the traditional Festival of Bread Without Yeast, called Passover. Tribal Members would travel from their homelands to Village of Peace (Jerusalem). Many would arrive early to perform a purification ceremony to prepare for the festival.


“How is it that you went into the house of Outsiders and ate with them?” they asked.


“As all of you must know,” he said to them, “it is against our law for a Tribal Member like myself to have anything to do with someone from an Outside Nation. But Creator has helped me to see that I should not consider anyone to be impure or unclean.


Then Spear of the Great Waters (Pilate) went outside to the tribal leaders and said to them, “I find no guilt in this man. By your own tradition we set free one criminal during your Passover Festival. Do you want me to release Creator Sets Free (Jesus), your chief?”


As the sun began to rise, the Grand Council of elders, along with the head holy men and the scroll keepers, all came together. They brought Creator Sets Free (Jesus) into the council house.


The soldiers took Creator Sets Free (Jesus) away into the great hall of the governor’s lodge, and all the soldiers gathered around him.

Send messengers to Village of Beauty (Joppa) to One Who Hears (Simon), who is also named Stands on the Rock (Peter), and ask him to come. He is lodging at the house of Hearing Man (Simon), a tanner of hides, who lives near the great waters.’
