You have never seen him, yet you love him. You cannot see him now, yet you trust him. This makes your heart so glad that you cannot find words beautiful enough, so you have to dance for joy.


The followers of Creator Sets Free (Jesus) were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.


because my words have made your hearts fall to the ground.


We are loved by our Honored Chief, Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One, and by our Father the Great Spirit. It is through the gift of his great kindness that he has given us good hope and comfort that will never fade away.


In the middle of the night Small Man (Paul) and Woods Man (Silas) were sending up prayers and singing sacred songs to the Great Spirit. The other prisoners were listening,


Each day they gathered at the sacred lodge. With good and pure hearts they feasted together in their homes and shared the ceremonial meal of frybread and wine given to them by Creator Sets Free (Jesus).


You shared in the pain of those who were in prison. When your own possessions were stolen, you accepted it with glad hearts, knowing that you have been given better possessions that will never fade away.


The Great Spirit cannot speak with a forked tongue! So his word of honor and his solemn promise are two things that can never be changed. This gives us, the ones who have taken shelter under his wings, brave hearts to take a firm hold on the hope he has set before us.


So the message bearers left the Grand Council. Their hearts were glad that they had been considered worthy to suffer dishonor for the reputation of Creator Sets Free (Jesus).


He Shows Goodwill (John), the much-loved follower of Creator Sets Free (Jesus), said to Stands on the Rock (Peter), “It is our Wisdomkeeper!” Stands on the Rock (Peter) had taken off his outer garment to fish. He put it back on and jumped into the water.


“I leave you now with my great peace. It is my gift to you. It is not the kind of peace the world gives. Do not let the troubles of this world fill you with fear and make your hearts fall to the ground, and do not let fear hold you back.


“Do not let your hearts fall to the ground,” he encouraged them. “Trust in the Great Spirit, and trust in me.


“But the ones who drink the water I give will never thirst, for this water will become a river flowing from inside them, giving them the life of the world to come that never fades away, full of beauty and harmony.”


They still could not believe their eyes, and with glad but fearful hearts they could only stare at him. Then he said to them, “Give me something to eat.”


“Father of Many Nations (Abraham) said to him, ‘My son, do you not remember? All your days were filled with good things, but the days of Creator Helps Him (Lazarus) were filled with sorrow and pain. It is now his time for comfort, but it is your time for sorrow and pain.


But you must set your heart on the one thing that matters. That is what Healing Tears (Mary) has done, and I will not take it from her.”


The women ran from the burial cave to bring the good news to his followers. Their hearts were trembling with fear and great joy.


“I speak from my heart. Your tears will be many, and your hearts will fall to the ground, because of what will happen to me, but the world around you will have glad hearts.


“The chief said to them, ‘The ones who do well with what they have will be given more. But for the ones who do nothing, even what they have will be taken away.’ “Then the chief turned to the tribal members who had opposed his appointment.


“Soon I will be gone and you will not be able to see me, and then after a little while you will see me again.”


Soon this world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Because I will live again, you will also live.


Our hearts are glad even in times of sorrow. We may be poor, but we have made many rich. It looks as if we have nothing, but the truth is, all things are ours.
