He poured water into a vessel and, one by one, he began to wash the feet of his followers and dry them with the cloth. This was a task reserved for only the lowest servant of the household.

She must also have a reputation for doing good. Has she raised her children in a good way? Has she welcomed travelers into her home? Has she washed the feet of Creator’s holy ones? Has she offered help to people during hard times? Has she always been willing to do good for others?

let us draw near with honest hearts, trusting fully in what the Chosen One has done. For our hearts have been washed clean from guilt and shame and our bodies washed with pure water.


He did this to give them a place of honor and dignity above all others. He washes all with the purifying water of the word he speaks over them.


Some of you used to walk in these ways, but no more. You have been washed clean. You have been made holy. You have been given good standing in the eyes of the Great Spirit. All this was done through the name of our Honored Chief Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One, and by the Spirit of our Creator.


What are you waiting for? Rise up and participate in the purification ceremony, washing you clean from your broken ways, as you call out to him, trusting in all that his name represents.’


He is the one who came through water and blood—Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One. He did not come by water only, but by both water and blood. It is the Holy Spirit who tells us that this is true, for the Spirit himself is the truth.


But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we will be in harmony with each other as the lifeblood shed by Creator Sets Free (Jesus), the Son of the Great Spirit, cleanses us from all our broken ways.

All honor belongs to the one who loves us, the one who, by giving up his own lifeblood, set us free from our bad hearts and broken ways.


Creator Sets Free (Jesus) replied, “If you have already had a bath, only your feet need washing, and then you will be clean all over. Now, you are all clean. Except for one.”


“No!” Stands on the Rock (Peter) lifted his voice, “This can never be!” Creator Sets Free (Jesus) looked deep into his eyes and said, “If you refuse this, then you have no part in who I am.”


He came to Stands on the Rock (Peter), who said to him, “Wisdomkeeper, are you going to wash my feet?”
