“Father,” he prayed, “honor your name and show the world the beauty of it.” Suddenly, a voice from above spoke out of the sky, “I have honored my name, for it represents who I am, and I will once again honor and show the beauty of it.”

Once again he went from them and prayed, “My Father, if this is the only way, then, as you desire, I will drink deeply of this bitter cup.” The night was silent and cold as Creator Sets Free (Jesus) trembled and prayed. The powers of darkness were pressing in hard. After a while he returned to the three followers, who were supposed to be praying.


While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them. A voice spoke from the cloud, saying, “This is my much-loved Son, the one who makes my heart glad. Listen to him!”


A voice from the sky spoke like distant thunder, “This is my much-loved Son, who makes my heart glad!”


For he received honor and shining-greatness from his Father, the Great Spirit, who spoke to him with his voice of honor, saying, “This is my much-loved Son, the one who makes my heart glad.”


May his sacred family and the Chosen One bring honor to him across all generations, to the time beyond the end of all days. Aho! May it be so!


So that now, through his sacred family, his great wisdom, which is like a rainbow with many colors, will be made known to the powers and rulers in the spirit-world above.


He did this to show us the overflowing greatness of his kindness and mercy, not only in this age but in the many ages to come—all because of what the Chosen One has done.


Creator Sets Free (Jesus) turned to Stands on the Rock (Peter) and cried out, “Enough of this! Put your long knife back into its sheath. Shall I not drink the cup of suffering my Father has asked of me?”


When Creator Sets Free (Jesus) heard the message, he said, “This sickness will not end in death. Instead, this will bring honor to the Great Spirit and shine a light on his Son.”


“The wrongdoings of neither he nor his parents caused this,” he told them, “but that the healing power of the Great Spirit would be seen in him,


A voice spoke from the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, the one I have chosen. Listen to him!”


and the Holy Spirit came down in the form of a dove and rested on him. A voice from the spirit-world above spoke like distant thunder, “You are my much-loved Son who makes my heart glad!”


“Abba, Honored Father,” he cried out, “nothing is too hard for you. Take this bitter cup of suffering away from me. But I want only your way, not mine.”


Then, from above, a bright cloud came down around them and a voice spoke out from the cloud, “This is my Son, my Much Loved One. He is the one who speaks for me now. Listen to him!”


Then a voice from the sky spoke like distant thunder, “This is my much-loved Son who makes my heart glad!”


“I honor you, O Great Father, Maker of earth and sky,” he prayed, “for you have hidden these things from the ones who are wise in their own eyes but have shown them to the humble of heart.


Yes, my Father, it has made your heart glad to see this day come.” Then he turned to the ones who walked the road with him.
