But someone will say, “Faith is what is needed,” while another says, “Good deeds are what is needed.” I say that both are needed. You show me your faith without good deeds, and I will show you my faith by the good deeds I have done.

Are any among you wise and understanding? Then show it in the way you live, doing good from a humble and wise heart.


My aim in telling you these things is that you would walk the path of love with a pure heart, being true to what you trust in and honest to who you are deep inside.


What good is it, my sacred family members, if a man says “I have faith,” but has no deeds to show for it? Can that kind of “faith” set him free and make him whole?


So then, in Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One, whether or not you participate in the cutting of the flesh ceremony does not matter. What matters is walking out our faith on the road of love.


As for yourself, be an example to them by the good deeds you do, and in the heartfelt and respectful ways you teach.


But the ones who are not sure they are doing right will feel their guilt, for whatever does not come from trusting in Creator comes from our broken ways.


Boastful Woman (Rahab), who lived in Moon Village (Jericho), made her living by trading her body for possessions. But because she trusted and welcomed the spies with peace, she did not die with the ones who refused to obey Creator.


Because men such as these trusted the Great Spirit, they won the victory over nations, made wrongs right again, took hold of promises, and closed the mouths of mountain lions.


For no one can make Creator’s heart glad without trusting him. So then, those who draw near to the Great Spirit must believe that he is and that he honors all who truly seek him.


I may have prophetic powers and the ability to see into sacred mysteries and understand all things. I might even have faith strong enough to make mountains move. But if I fail to love, I am nothing.


Here is another way to see it. Good standing with the Great Spirit does not come by following our tribal law but by putting all our trust in what Creator has done for us.


My much-loved friends, since Creator has given us promises such as these, let us cleanse both body and spirit from all impurities. We will continue to walk this path of becoming holy because we have such deep respect for the Great Spirit.


I am saying that anyone who has been joined together with the Chosen One is now part of the new creation. For in the Chosen One the old creation has faded away and the new creation has come into being.


So now, no one can use our tribal law to decide the guilt of the ones who have trusted in Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One!


Chief Much Loved One (David) also speaks of the goodwill that is poured out on the ones who did no work to be in good standing in the eyes of Creator.


But, some might ask, “If Creator is the one who decides these things, then what choice do we have, for who can stand against what he wants?”
