First Nations Version

You have been given instructions about different kinds of ceremonies for purification and for laying on of hands. You have also been taught about the rising of the dead and the final judgment.

Some traditional wisdom seekers also argued with him. Others wondered, “What is this talking head saying?” while others said, “He seems to be talking about strange and powerful spirits.” They said this because he was telling them the good story about Creator Sets Free (Jesus) and his rising from the dead.

It was still late in the night, but the headman took Small Man (Paul) and Woods Man (Silas) and washed their wounds. Then right away the headman and his family all participated in the purification ceremony.

John 1:33

I now know he is the one, because the Father above who sent me said, ‘The man you see the Spirit come down and rest on will perform the purification ceremony with the Holy Spirit.’” The people could only stare in amazement at Creator Sets Free (Jesus) as they listened to the words that they had longed to hear for many generations.

Mark 16:16

The ones who trust in me will participate in the purification ceremony, setting them free from their broken ways and initiating them into my sacred family. But the ones who will not walk this road with me will come to a bad end.

Matthew 28:19

“So now I am sending you into all nations to teach them how to walk the road with me. You will represent me as you perform the purification ceremony with them, initiating them into the life of beauty and harmony represented in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

2 Peter 3:7

For through the one Spirit we all participated in the purification ceremony that joined us together into one body. That body is made up of Tribal Members, Wisdom Seekers (Greeks), slaves and free. But none of that matters because we all drink living water from the same Spirit.

They will not eat the food offered at the trading posts unless it is first purified by washing. They also follow many other traditions, such as the washing of drinking cups, bowls, and even the benches they sit on.

2 Corinthians 5:10

For we must all stand before the council seat of the Chosen One and give an answer for what we have done in these earthly bodies—whether good or bad. Then the Chosen One will give back to each of us the honor that is due.
