The Sacred Teachings tell us, “Today, when you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as your ancestors did when they turned away from me and put me to the test.”


I stand before the entrance of your tipi, asking you to welcome me in. If any of you welcome me in, I will sit down with you, and we will share a good meal together.


many winters later Creator chooses another day and calls it “today,” as he speaks through the mouth of Much Loved One (David) and says again, “Today, when you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.”


I know who my sheep are, for they know my voice and go where I lead them.


Speak courage to each other every day, as long as it is still called “today,” so that no one’s heart will grow hard and be led astray by broken ways.


While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them. A voice spoke from the cloud, saying, “This is my much-loved Son, the one who makes my heart glad. Listen to him!”


and the gatekeeper opens the way. The sheep know their shepherd’s voice, for he calls each one of them by name, and they follow him as he leads them in and out of the sheep pen.


The time has now come when the ones who are spiritually dead will hear the voice of Creator’s own Son, and all who hear it will live.


I have other sheep who are not from this flock. I will go and find them, and they will also hear my voice. Then there will be only one flock, with one Shepherd.


For prophecy did not come from the mind of human beings but from those who through the Holy Spirit spoke Creator’s words.


By all these things the Holy Spirit is showing us that the way into the Most Holy Place in the spirit-world above was not yet open as long as the first sacred lodge tent in this world was still standing.


“How can the scroll keepers call him the descendant of Much Loved One (David),” he asked, “when Much Loved One (David) himself, speaking by the power of the Spirit, called the Chosen One his Honored Chief?


So they disagreed with each other and began to leave after Small Man (Paul) said these last words to them, “The Holy Spirit was right when he spoke these words through the prophet Creator Will Help Us (Isaiah):


when Much Loved One (David) himself, speaking with the voice of the Holy Spirit, said, ‘The Honored Chief said to my Honored Chief, “Sit down beside me at my right hand, the place of greatest honor, until I defeat and humble all your enemies”’?


“Friends and family,” he said to all, “Much Loved One (David), guided by the Holy Spirit, foretold in the Sacred Teachings the things that found their full meaning in Speaks Well Of (Judas), who betrayed Creator Sets Free (Jesus) into the hands of the ones who arrested him.


The Spirit of Creator said to Lover of Horses (Philip), “Go and walk next to this covered wagon.”


The Holy Spirit tells us the same truth. First, he says,
