Colossians 2:1

First Nations Version

I want you to know about the fierce spiritual battle that I fight for you who live in Village of Giants (Colossae). I also fight for you who live in the village of The People Will Decide (Laodicea) and for all who have never seen me face to face.

I give all I am to this task, drawing my strength from the Great Spirit who works so powerfully in me.


For you are now struggling in the same spiritual battle you saw me fight in the past, one I am still fighting.


The voice said, “Write down in a scroll the things that you see. Send this scroll to the seven sacred family gatherings in Land of the Rising Sun (Asia). “Send it to the sacred family gatherings in Village of Desire (Ephesus), Village of Bitter Herbs (Smyrna), First in Courage (Pergamum), High Rock House (Thyatira), Safe Place (Sardis), Family of Friends (Philadelphia), and The People Will Decide (Laodicea).”


Even though I have been suffering for you, it makes my heart glad. There are still many things that the Chosen One must suffer through his sacred family in his body on earth. My suffering, in my human body, is my part in bringing full meaning and purpose to these remaining afflictions. This I gladly do for the sake of the sacred family, the body of the Chosen One.


Their greatest sorrow was from his words, “You will not see my face again.” Then they walked with him to our canoe to see us on our way.


You have never seen him, yet you love him. You cannot see him now, yet you trust him. This makes your heart so glad that you cannot find words beautiful enough, so you have to dance for joy.


For even though my body may be far away, in my spirit I am close to you. I can see you standing strong and walking a straight path with firm steps as you trust in the Chosen One.


My little children! Once again I am like a mother struggling to give birth to a child. My struggle will continue until the Chosen One has been fully formed within you.


“I now know that none of you will see my face again. You are the ones I have taught clearly about the good road.


In great agony he prayed with renewed strength, until his sweat began to fall like great drops of blood watering the ground.


In the days when Creator Sets Free (Jesus) walked among us as a human being, he sent his voice to the Great Spirit with tears and loud cries to the only one who could rescue him from death. His prayers were heard because of the honor and respect he showed to the One Above Us All.


For you already know about the mistreatment and insults we faced at Village of Horses (Philippi). But in the midst of such hostility Creator gave us the boldness to tell you his good story.
