The head lodge soldier, along with his soldiers, went to arrest the message bearers again, but not by force, for they were afraid the people might throw stones at them.


While Stands on the Rock (Peter) and He Shows Goodwill (John) were speaking to the people, the head lodge soldier, along with the Upright Ones (Sadducees) and some holy men, came up to them.


So the council warned and threatened them again, but released them and let them go on their way. The council dared not do anything to punish them, because the people were giving thanks to Creator for this powerful sign.


Many were amazed and confused and began to ask each other, “What can this mean?”


The Separated Ones (Pharisees) huddled together near the crowd. “Nothing we have done to stop him has worked,” they complained. “Look! The whole world is now following him.” Along with the Tribal Members of Wrestles with Creator (Israel) who came to participate in the Passover festival, there were also many outsiders from other nations who would come.


He then turned to the head holy men, the lodge soldiers, and the council elders, who had come to take him. “Why do you come at me with clubs and long knives as if I were a thief?” he asked them.


He went to the head holy men and the lodge guards and told them of his plan to turn against Creator Sets Free (Jesus).


“When we arrived at the jail,” they said to the council, “we found the jail doors locked and guarded. But when we opened the doors, there was no one to be found!”


a messenger came up to them. “Look!” the messenger said, “the ones you put in jail are standing in the sacred lodge and teaching the people!”
