Acts 5:12First Nations VersionThe message bearers were performing many powerful signs among the people. The people were all gathering together under the entryway at the sacred lodge named after the great chief Stands in Peace (Solomon). See the chapter |
The man threw his arms around Stands on the Rock (Peter) and He Shows Goodwill (John) and would not let go of them. A great crowd of people ran up and began to circle around them under the covered walkway named after the great chief Stands in Peace (Solomon). They looked at Stands on the Rock (Peter) and He Shows Goodwill (John) with wonder and amazement on their faces.
Stands on the Rock (Peter) sent them all outside. He then fell to his knees and sent his voice to the Great Spirit. After he prayed, he turned toward the dead body of the woman. “Deer Woman (Tabitha),” he said to her, “get up!” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Stands on the Rock (Peter), she sat up.
