When they finished praying, the place where they had gathered began to rumble and shake. The Holy Spirit filled them with his power, and with brave and strong hearts they began to tell Creator’s Story!

So when you send your prayers to the Great Spirit, believe that he hears you, and whatever you ask for will be yours.”


The Holy Spirit had come down upon them and began to fill them with his life and power. New languages began to flow out from their mouths, languages they had never learned, given from the Holy Spirit.


If wisdom is needed, ask the Great Spirit, for he freely gives wisdom to all who ask and never holds back.


when suddenly the sound of a great windstorm came from the spirit-world above and could be heard throughout the house where they were sitting.


“So we ask, O Great One, look down and see their threats against us. Help us to be brave and tell your story well


“If you are joined to me and my words remain in you, you can ask me for anything and it will be done.


“I speak from my heart. The ones who trust in me will do the same things I do, and even greater things, for I am going away to my Father.


“You may think you chose me, but I am the one who chose you. You are my new garden where I will grow a great harvest of my love—the fruit that remains. When you bear this fruit, you represent who I am—my name. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask for.


Knowing that I am in chains has given a great number of the sacred family members new courage in our Honored Chief to win the victory over their fear and boldly tell the good story.


The time for the full meaning of the ancient festival had now arrived. The followers of Creator Sets Free (Jesus), numbering about one hundred and twenty, were waiting and praying in the upstairs room where they were lodging. It had now been fifty days since the Passover festival. They had all gathered together in one place,


When the council saw the courage of Stands on the Rock (Peter) and He Shows Goodwill (John), they were amazed to find that they were common and unschooled men. They also took notice that they had walked the road with Creator Sets Free (Jesus).


So the message bearers, Small Man (Paul) and Son of Comfort (Barnabas), remained there a long time and spoke with boldness about our Honored Chief. Through their hands Creator did many wonderful and powerful signs, confirming the message of the gift of his great kindness.


From deep in my spirit comes the hope that I will never face the shame of defeat but that I will have the courage, now and always, to bring honor to the Chosen One by the way I live or by the way I die.
