There he found a man named Man of Honor (Aeneas), who could not move his body and had been unable to leave his bed for eight winters.


A man was there who had been ill for thirty-eight winters.


Some people were carrying a man who had been unable to walk from his birth. Each day they would lay him down by the entrance to the lodge called the Beautiful Gate, so he could ask for handouts from the ones who were going into the lodge.


After walking safely away from the lodge, Creator Sets Free (Jesus) saw a man blind from birth sitting by the pathway. They stopped near the man and


There was a woman there who had a spirit of weakness for eighteen winters. Her back was bent and twisted, so she could not stand up straight.


There was a woman following with the crowd who had been bleeding in an unusual way for more than twelve winters. This would have made her ceremonially unclean and untouchable according to tribal law. She came up close behind Creator Sets Free (Jesus), reached out her hand, and touched the fringe of his outer garment.


So the council warned and threatened them again, but released them and let them go on their way. The council dared not do anything to punish them, because the people were giving thanks to Creator for this powerful sign.


Stands on the Rock (Peter) and He Shows Goodwill (John) went back to their newly formed family and told them what had happened to them and what the council had decided.
