Some people were carrying a man who had been unable to walk from his birth. Each day they would lay him down by the entrance to the lodge called the Beautiful Gate, so he could ask for handouts from the ones who were going into the lodge.


“The wrongdoings of neither he nor his parents caused this,” he told them, “but that the healing power of the Great Spirit would be seen in him,


The Father loves the Son and shows him everything he does. He will show him great and powerful medicine, things that will fill you with wonder.


Everyone there stood in awe at Creator’s great power. While the crowd stood there in amazement, Creator Sets Free (Jesus) turned to his followers and said to them,


Many were amazed and confused and began to ask each other, “What can this mean?”


In wonder and amazement the crowd began to ask, “How is it that these people from Circle of Nations (Galilee) are speaking in our many languages?


The people were in awe and began to ask each other, “What is he teaching? What new medicine is this? He even tells the unclean spirits what to do—and they do it!”


When the people there recognized him, they sent messengers to all the surrounding villages, and the people brought to him all who were sick.


The people who lived near him, and others who knew he was a blind beggar, saw him and said in amazement, “Could this be the blind man who sat and asked for handouts?”
