A storm was moving in, and a fierce wind drove the waves into the canoe and threatened to swamp it. They paddled harder, trying desperately to keep the canoe from sinking, but the wind and waves were too much for them. They were filled with fear and about to sink and needed help from their Wisdomkeeper.


Suddenly the violent storm overtook them and threatened to sink the large canoe, but Creator Sets Free (Jesus) had fallen into a deep sleep.


The canoe was caught in the wind, and when we could make no headway against it, we gave up trying and let it force us along.
