One of the women there, named Bitter Fruit (Lydia), from High Rock House (Thyatira), was a trader in purple cloths and had great respect for Creator. As Small Man (Paul) spoke, she listened closely to the message, and Creator opened her heart.


Creator Rescues (Jesus), who is also named Stands Upright (Justus), also sends his greetings. These are the only Tribal Members who walk with me on Creator’s good road, working with me side by side. They have been a great comfort to me.


Some of them were won over and joined with Small Man (Paul) and Woods Man (Silas), including a large number of Wisdom Seekers (Greeks) who had deep respect for Creator and also many of the local headwomen.


As they were leaving, the people begged them to stay and talk with them again on the next Day of Resting.


“Little Horn (Cornelius), who is a head soldier of the People of Iron (Romans), sent us. He is a man with a good heart who has deep respect for the Great Spirit and is well spoken of by all in your tribal nation. He was instructed by a sacred spirit-messenger to send messengers to you, to ask you to come to his house so he can hear your words.”


He was a spiritual man who had deep respect for the Great Spirit. He, along with all his family, gave with a big heart to the poor and prayed to Creator at all times.


The Great Spirit does not listen to people with bad hearts. He listens to the ones who humbly serve him and do what is right.


After the meeting at the gathering house ended, many of the Tribal Members and others who had been ceremonially taken into the tribe followed after Small Man (Paul) and Son of Comfort (Barnabas), who urged them to keep walking in Creator’s gift of great kindness.


But the Tribal Members stirred up the spiritual leaders, both the women and men, against Small Man (Paul) and Son of Comfort (Barnabas) and forced them out of that area.
