Acts 13:23First Nations Version“Creator has kept his promise to the tribes of Wrestles with Creator (Israel) and has raised up a descendant of Much Loved One (David) to be the one to set his people free from their bad hearts and wrongdoings. This descendant is Creator Sets Free (Jesus). See the chapter |
To the one Great Spirit, who has set us free and made us whole through our Honored Chief Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One. Bright-shining greatness, beauty, power, and chiefly rule belong to him from the time before all days, today, and to the time beyond the end of all days. Aho! May it be so!
What would happen to those who, after being set free from the shameful ways of the world through knowing our Honored Chief and Sacred Deliverer, Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One, were to be overcome by these ways and to choose to walk once again on that bad path? If that happened, they would be in a worse place than they were at first.
From Stands on the Rock (Peter), a sacred servant and message bearer of Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One. To all who have taken hold of and share together with us in the way of trusting that comes from the right ways of the Great Spirit and from our Sacred Deliverer, Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One.
And this is the way all of the tribes of Wrestles with Creator (Israel) will be set free and made whole. As the Sacred Teachings tell us, “The one who Sets Us Free will come from Strong Mountain (Zion). He is the one who will turn Heel Grabber (Jacob) from his worthless ways, back to the ways of the Great Spirit.
The Great Spirit gave him a sacred promise that one of his descendants would be a Great Chief to rule over all the tribes. Much Loved One (David) was a prophet and saw, ahead of time, that the Chosen One would rise from the dead and that he would not be left alone in the Dark Underworld of Death (Hades), nor would his body return to the dust of the earth.
The crowd circled around him, front and back, and began to shout: “Hosanna! To the descendant of Much Loved One (David)! “Blessed is the one who comes representing the Great Spirit! “Hosanna to the highest one!” This humble Chief did not fit the image of a conquering ruler. Instead of a warhorse, he rode on a donkey colt. No mighty warriors rode next to him. No dignitaries came out to meet him. It was mostly the common people who welcomed him that day.
