One day, in the middle of the after-noon, he had a sacred vision. He could clearly see a spirit-messenger from Creator coming toward him. “Little Horn (Cornelius)!” the messenger said to him.
In the middle of the afternoon the people would gather at the sacred lodge for a time of prayer. Stands on the Rock (Peter) and He Shows Goodwill (John) were walking together on their way to the lodge.
Are not all spirit-messengers spirits who have been sent out with the sacred task of serving those who will share in the blessings of being set free and made whole?
“The man of the house told us how he had seen a spirit-messenger standing in his house. The messenger told him to send a message to Village of Beauty (Joppa) to One Who Hears (Simon), who is also named Stands on the Rock (Peter),
Little Horn (Cornelius) spoke up and said to him, “It has now been four days to this very hour. In the middle of the afternoon, while I was praying, I looked up and saw a man standing before me, and his garments were shining bright.
Stands on the Rock (Peter) was troubled, trying to understand the meaning of the vision. At the same time the men who were sent by Little Horn (Cornelius) stood at the gate
Now in that village there was a man named Creator Shows Kindness (Ananias), a follower of Creator Sets Free (Jesus). He was given a sacred vision from the Great Spirit. “Creator Shows Kindness (Ananias)!” the voice called out to him in the vision. “I am here, Honored One!” he answered back.
He fell to the ground and then heard a voice speaking. “Man Who Questions (Saul), Man Who Questions (Saul),” the voice called out his name twice, “why are you pursuing and mistreating me?” Man Who Questions (Saul) trembled with fear at the sound of the voice that was coming from the blinding light.
As the smoke went up with his prayers, suddenly a spirit-messenger from the Great Spirit appeared to him, standing to the right of the altar of sweet-smelling smoke.
That is when Creator Sets Free (Jesus), speaking in his native language, cried out loud, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani”—which means, “O Great Spirit, my Creator, why have you left me alone?”
On the next day, as the messengers were traveling and coming close to the village, Stands on the Rock (Peter) climbed up onto the flat roof of the house to send his voice to Creator. It was about midday.
