I am making it my aim to share these things with you, so that after I have walked on you will always be able to remember what you have been taught.


Do you remember when we were still with you, we gave you the instruction, “The ones who will not work should not be fed”?


For you know that we treated you as parents would treat their own children. We begged and comforted and urged you


Our broken ways also lead us to want what belongs to others, to become drunks, and to participate in wild parties. It is things like this that I am warning you about. For I have already warned you that the ones who walk in these ways will not share in the blessings of Creator’s good road.


So I tell you again, stay alert! Do not forget that night and day, for three winters, I kept giving you wise counsel and warning each of you with many tears.


I am telling you this so when the time comes you will remember I told you ahead of time. I did not tell these things from the first because I was with you—


Have you no eyes to see with and no ears to hear with?” His words were sharp, and frustration showed on his face as he tried to make things clear. “Have you forgotten so soon?” he asked.


Do you have no understanding? Have you forgotten so soon how many baskets of broken pieces were left over when I fed the five thousand with five pieces of frybread?


When we were with you, we made it clear that a trail of sorrow and trouble lay ahead of us. As you know, we had to walk that path.


You know what it is that now holds him back until it is time for him to be revealed.
