In the same way, Village of Bad Spirits (Sodom) and Village of Deep Fear (Gomorrah) and the small villages nearby gave themselves over to sexual impurity and to twisted and shameful ways. These villages, which were punished with a fire that burned on and on, are now set before us as a warning against such things.

These things happened to them as a warning to us. These stories were written down so we would learn not to walk in their footsteps. We are the people who live in the time when Creator’s plan has reached its full meaning and purpose.

When he comes, he will carry out the decision he has made against the ones who have followed their bad hearts and broken ways. Their shameful ways will be exposed along with all the insulting things they have spoken against the Great Spirit.”

The truth is, on the day when the fate of that village is decided, it will be worse for them than it was for Village of Bad Spirits (Sodom) and Village of Deep Fear (Gomorrah).

“As for you, Village of Comfort (Capernaum), do you think you will be lifted up to the spirit-world above? No! You will be brought down low, to the Dark Underworld of Death (Hades). If Village of Bad Spirits (Sodom) had seen the powerful signs you have seen, that village would have remained to this day.

And just as Creator Will Help Us (Isaiah) has foretold, “If the Chief of Spirit Warriors had not left some of our descendants alive, we would have become like the people of Village of Bad Spirits (Sodom) and Village of Deep Fear (Gomorrah).” Long ago, in the time of Father of Many Nations (Abraham), Village of Bad Spirits (Sodom) and Village of Deep Fear (Gomorrah) were destroyed, and none of the people survived.

So then, let us pour all of our strength into entering Creator’s rest. In this way, no one will stumble away from the path of trusting, like our ancestors did.
