The Great Spirit did not take pity on spirit-messengers who were guilty of wrongdoing. He banished them into the dark caves of the underworld, to be held there until the time comes for their fate to be decided.

You also know about the spirit-messengers who did not remain in their place of authority and deserted their rightful dwelling. They are bound continually in a place of deep darkness waiting to face their fate on the great day of deciding.


“Then the Chief will say to the goats on his left, ‘Go away from me, you who have bad hearts, into the fire that burns everything up, made for the evil trickster snake and his messengers.


If the Great Spirit did not hold back his own Son, but instead gave him up for us all, will he then hold back on anything else? Along with his Son, he will give us all there is to give.


The evil one who had deceived them was thrown into the fiery lake that blazes with burning rocks—where the wild beast and false prophet were thrown. There they will suffer greatly day and night to the time beyond the end of all days.


Then he said to them, “With my own eyes I have seen Accuser (Satan) fall down like lightning from the spirit-world above.


The ones who stay with walking in broken ways are following the evil trickster, for he has been walking in broken ways from the beginning. The reason Creator’s Son appeared was to bring an end to the ways of the evil trickster.


Even so the spirit-messengers, who are greater in strength and power, do not accuse these bad-hearted ones or speak evil of them before our Honored Chief.


Neither did he spare the ancient world when he sent a great flood to cleanse the world from evil. But along with seven others he spared One Who Rests (Noah), who told others about Creator’s right ways.


They begged him not to send them into the deep dark pit of the world below.


Your father is Accuser (Satan), the evil trickster. You are doing what he wants, for he was the first to take the life of another. He stands outside of the truth, because truth has no home in him. He speaks with a forked tongue and twists his words. His lies show who he truly is. He is a liar and the father of all that is false.


“Creator Sets Free (Jesus), Son of the One Above Us All, what are you going to do with us?” the unclean spirits cried out through the man. “Promise me by the Great Spirit that you will not torment us.”


“Son of the Great Spirit!” they shrieked. “What do you want from us? Are you here to torment us before Creator’s chosen time?”


Their shameful ways are like the foam churned up by the storm-tossed waves of the sea. They are lost and wandering stars that have strayed from their proper path in the night sky. A place of deep darkness that goes on and on is kept ready for them.


So then, all of these stories show us that the Honored One knows how to rescue his holy ones from trouble and hold the bad-hearted ones captive until the day comes when he will decide their punishment.


For if Creator did not have pity on the original branches, why should he have pity on you?
