I boldly tell others how much I respect you. My heart has been made strong and overflows with joy, even as we walk a troubled path.


From deep in my spirit comes the hope that I will never face the shame of defeat but that I will have the courage, now and always, to bring honor to the Chosen One by the way I live or by the way I die.


When the council saw the courage of Stands on the Rock (Peter) and He Shows Goodwill (John), they were amazed to find that they were common and unschooled men. They also took notice that they had walked the road with Creator Sets Free (Jesus).


His followers said to him, “Now you are speaking plainly to us instead of using stories!


The ones who have served well as helpers gain the respect of others, and their trust in Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One will grow strong.


For you already know about the mistreatment and insults we faced at Village of Horses (Philippi). But in the midst of such hostility Creator gave us the boldness to tell you his good story.


Now I, Small Man (Paul), will speak for myself. With all the humility and kindness of the Chosen One I beg you to listen to what I have to say. Some have said that I am weak when with you and bold when away from you.


It has been written in our Sacred Teachings, “My faith gave me the courage to speak.” Since the same faith lives in our spirits, we too have the courage to speak.


But at our sacred family gatherings it would be better for me to speak five words of instruction that all can understand than to speak ten thousand words in an unknown language.


So the message bearers, Small Man (Paul) and Son of Comfort (Barnabas), remained there a long time and spoke with boldness about our Honored Chief. Through their hands Creator did many wonderful and powerful signs, confirming the message of the gift of his great kindness.


He spoke to the Greek-speaking tribal leaders arguing with them, but it just made them look for a way to kill him.


But Son of Comfort (Barnabas) came alongside him and took him to the message bearers. Man Who Questions (Saul) then told them the story of what happened on the road, how he had seen and heard the voice of our Honored Chief. He also told them that he had been representing Creator Sets Free (Jesus) and speaking out boldly to the Tribal Members in the village of Silent Weaver (Damascus).


“I have told you truths from the spirit-world above, using earthly stories. The time is coming when I will not have to use stories but will tell you plainly about the Father. When that time comes, you will not need me to ask the Father for you, because you will ask him yourself.


The tribal leaders came to him and said, “How long will you make us wait? If you are the Chosen One, then tell us!”


For if what was fading away came as a shining light, how much more beauty and shining-greatness belongs to what will never fade away!


Knowing that I am in chains has given a great number of the sacred family members new courage in our Honored Chief to win the victory over their fear and boldly tell the good story.


I have the freedom in the Chosen One to boldly order you to do the right thing,
