We are sending our voices to the Great Spirit, praying for you to do nothing wrong. This is not to make it look as if we have passed the test, but so that you will do what is good and right even if it looks as if we have failed.

Creator’s blessing rests on the ones who stand firm under testing, for once they have passed the test, they will receive the headdress of life that has been promised to those who love the Great Spirit.


Our Honored Chief will rescue me from every evil scheme and carry me safely onto his good road from above. All honor belongs to him to all the ages. Aho! May it be so!


Make it your aim to present yourself to Creator as one who is tried and true, a hard worker, without shame, who guides Creator’s message of truth down a straight path.


Send up prayers for rulers and all governing authorities, so we may live our lives in a peaceful and sacred way, walking together with harmony and respect.


Now may the Giver of Peace, Creator himself, make you holy in every way. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept pure and without blame at the coming of our Honored Chief, Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One.


Last of all, my sacred family members, if anything can be seen as good and honorable, think deeply about these things. Things that are true and noble, upright and pure, full of beauty and worthy of respect.


Walk in a good way among those who are outsiders to our spiritual ways. In this way, even though they falsely accuse you of wrongdoing, when they see the good you have done they will give honor to the Great Spirit on the day he comes to visit us.


So if our being weak means that you are strong, it makes our hearts glad. It is our prayer that you will become strong and mature followers of the Chosen One.


For it is not the ones who honor themselves that are proven worthy, but only those who are honored by the Great Spirit.


It has been said by some, “In his letters his words carry much weight and power, but face to face his words are weak and empty.”


Our aim is to do what is honorable, not only in the eyes of the Great Spirit but also in the eyes of human beings.


Instead, we represent ourselves to others in a good way as servants of the Great Spirit. It is with great patience that we walk through times of trouble, suffering, and misery.


For these kinds of splinter groups are certain to happen and make it easy to see who among you walks in a good way and who does not.


Greet Stands Alone (Apelles), who by walking a rough road has proven himself to be a faithful follower of the Chosen One. Also greet Gives Wise Guidance (Aristobulus) and his family.


Let the light of this new day guide you onto a path of honor. We must walk away from wild drinking parties, from sexual impurity and improper desires, and from arguing and jealousy.


No one should pay back evil with evil. Do what you know to be honorable in the eyes of another.


I am not asking you to remove them from the world but that you keep them safe from the evil one and his ways.


“Guide us away from the things that tempt us to stray from your good road, and set us free from the evil one and his worthless ways. Aho! May it be so!


Since they did not want to know the Great Spirit, he turned them over to their worthless ways of thinking, to do things that should not be done.


It is my hope that you will come to know that I and my fellow workers have not failed this test.


For we must stand firm on the truth and not walk away from it.
