Because they represent the Great Spirit, the elders who watch over the sacred family must have a good reputation with outsiders. They must not be stubborn, hot-headed, heavy drinkers, violent, or greedy for possessions.


“Stay alert and care for one another. The Holy Spirit has given you elders the task of watching over his people. Like shepherds that guard the sheep, you will watch over his sacred family, the ones he paid the highest price for with his own lifeblood.


I counsel you to watch over Creator’s family like a shepherd watching over a flock of sheep. Do this willingly, as Creator wants you to, not to gain more possessions but from an honest desire to serve.


Here is a saying that you can be sure of: Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One came into this world to set bad-hearted people free from their broken ways—and I am the worst one of all.


At one time you were like sheep wandering away, but you have now returned to the one who watches over you like a shepherd who watches over the sheep.


See to it that no one among you misses out on the gift of Creator’s great kindness and that no bitter root springs up among you, making trouble and poisoning many hearts.


Here is a wise saying you can fully trust: If we died with him, we will live with him.


This saying is honorable and should be fully welcomed by all.

To all of Creator’s holy people who gather in Village of Horses (Philippi) and to the spiritual leaders and those who have the sacred task of helping others, who together watch over the sacred family.


In the same way, Creator’s spirit-messengers will celebrate when even one outcast finds the way back home.” Creator Sets Free (Jesus) then told them another story to help them see even more clearly.


You can be sure that the things I have told you are true and good and helpful for everyone. I want you to speak boldly about these things, so that those who trust in Creator will give themselves to doing good things for others.


These gifts were given to prepare Creator’s holy people for the work of helping others and to make the body of the Chosen One strong

Make sure no one among you suffers as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or a troublemaker.


Now, my sacred family members, we call on you to give firm and wise counsel to those whose hands do nothing. Comfort those whose hearts are on the ground. Help the ones who are weak, and be patient with everyone.
