Since the Chosen One suffered for us while in his earthly body, we must also be ready to suffer and to think about it in the same way he did. The ones who are willing to suffer while still in their weak human bodies have chosen to stop walking in broken ways.

For the ones who belong to Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One have nailed their weak and broken humanity to his cross. This puts to death all their wrong desires and broken ways.


The Chosen One died once for the broken ways of all people. The one who always does right suffered for those who do wrong to make a way for us to come to the Great Spirit. In his weak human body he was put to death, but he was made alive in the Spirit.


So think about yourselves in the same way, dead to broken ways and alive to the Great Spirit in harmony with the Chosen One Creator Sets Free (Jesus).


“My life is no longer my own, for my life belongs to the Chosen One, who lives in me. The life I now live in my weak human body, I live by trusting in the faithfulness of the Son of the Great Spirit, who loved me and gave up his life for me.


For dead people can no longer follow their bad hearts and broken ways.


Once you are fully dressed for this war, you will be able to stand your ground in this day of the enemy’s evil rule. You are now ready to make your stand—so stand strong.


Think about yourselves in the same way Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One thought about himself.


This kind of thinking takes us nowhere! How can we who have died to our bad hearts and broken ways continue to walk that path?


If you will keep your thoughts on how much hostility Creator Sets Free (Jesus) endured from those with bad hearts and broken ways, it will keep you from growing weary and your hearts from falling to the ground.


For just as Creator rested from his work after creating the world, the ones who enter into Creator’s promised rest have also rested from their work.


Suffering in this way is part of what you have been called to do. It was for you that the Chosen One walked a path of suffering, showing you the way to follow in his footsteps.


Creator Sets Free (Jesus) said to the man with the useless hand, “Stand up and come forward.”
