Suffering in this way is part of what you have been called to do. It was for you that the Chosen One walked a path of suffering, showing you the way to follow in his footsteps.

“To walk the road with me,” Creator Sets Free (Jesus) said to his followers, “you must turn away from your own path, and always be ready to carry your cross with me to the place of ultimate sacrifice.


So follow my footsteps and do for each other what I have done for you.


Walk the road of love, following the path of the Chosen One, who loved us and offered up his life to the Great Spirit like the smoke of burning sage.


The Chosen One laid down his life for us. This is how we know what love is. In the same way, we should lay our lives down for each other.


He took on himself our broken ways when he hung on a tree-pole—the cross. He did this so we could die to our broken ways and come alive to his right ways. By his wounds we have been made whole.


Walk this road of life following in my footsteps, as I also walk this road following in the footsteps of the Chosen One.


Since the Chosen One suffered for us while in his earthly body, we must also be ready to suffer and to think about it in the same way he did. The ones who are willing to suffer while still in their weak human bodies have chosen to stop walking in broken ways.


Think about yourselves in the same way Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One thought about himself.


Follow my teachings and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble of heart, and you will find rest from your troubled thoughts.


For he knew long ago what kind of people he would choose. He decided ahead of time to make them to be like his firstborn Son who is the Elder of the sacred family.


On the way they strengthened the hearts of the new followers, telling them to stand tall as they walked this path of trusting. “Following Creator’s good road to the end,” they counseled them, “is a difficult path with many hardships.”


The Chosen One died once for the broken ways of all people. The one who always does right suffered for those who do wrong to make a way for us to come to the Great Spirit. In his weak human body he was put to death, but he was made alive in the Spirit.


The ones who fail to pick up their cross and walk the road with me do not know my worth.


Never return evil for evil or insult for insult. Instead, speak words of blessing over each other, for you were chosen to share together in Creator’s blessings.


“I have told you all these things so you will have my peace. This world is full of sorrow, pain and trouble, but have strong hearts, for I have defeated the world.”


Creator’s holy ones won the victory over him by the lifeblood shed by the Lamb and by boldly telling his story, and, when faced with death, they loved him more than they loved their own lives.


The Great Spirit is the maker and upholder of all things. So it was only right that he would be the one to lift his children back up to the honored place for which he created them. The one who would blaze the trail before them had to suffer, so he would be fully prepared to set them free and make them whole.


It is a true saying that all who want to live their lives in harmony with Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One will suffer harm at the hands of those who stand against him.


He was chosen to walk this path before the world was made, but he has been revealed in these last days for your good.


For the instructions we gave you came from Creator Sets Free (Jesus) our Honored Chief himself.


so that no one would be shaken by the hard times we are facing. For you know that this is the path Creator has chosen for us.


explaining and proving to them that the Chosen One had to suffer and then rise again from the dead. Then he said to them, “Creator Sets Free (Jesus), the one I have been telling you about, is the Chosen One!”


I will show him how much he must suffer in order to represent who I am.”


“It should be clear to you that the Chosen One would suffer first before he would be lifted up and honored above all.”


Instead, be glad that you share in the sufferings of the Chosen One. The more you share in his sufferings, the more you will dance for joy when his shining-greatness is revealed.
