“The Great Spirit loves this world of human beings so deeply he gave us his Son—the only Son who fully represents him. All who trust in him and his way will not come to a bad end, but will have the life of the world to come that never fades away, full of beauty and harmony.


And the truth we have heard from Creator is that he has gifted us with the life of the world to come that never fades away, full of beauty and harmony—and this life is found in his Son.


If the Great Spirit did not hold back his own Son, but instead gave him up for us all, will he then hold back on anything else? Along with his Son, he will give us all there is to give.


In the same way the living Father sent me and gave me his life, the ones who feed on me will have my life.


This is love, not that we loved Creator, but that he loved us and proved his love by sending his Son to take on himself the burden of our broken ways.


The Chosen One laid down his life for us. This is how we know what love is. In the same way, we should lay our lives down for each other.


“Thieves enter only to take away life, to steal what is not theirs, and to bring to ruin all they cannot have. I have come to give the good life, a life that overflows with beauty and harmony.


I am the living bread from above. The ones who eat this bread will live beyond the end of all days. And this is the bread that I will give as a gift to the world—my human body.”


“The ones who trust in him are released from their guilt, but, for the ones who turn away from him to follow the ways of this world, their guilt remains. This is because they are turning away from the life of beauty and harmony the Great Spirit offers through his Son.


For did the Great Spirit ever say to a spirit-messenger, “You are my Son. Today I make it known that I am your Father”? Or again, “I will be a Father to him, and he will be a Son to me”?


Creator Sets Free (Jesus) told them, “If the Great Spirit were truly your Father, you would love me and show respect, for I came from him. I did not send myself. He is the one who sent me.


“The Spirit of Creator has come to rest on me. He has chosen me to tell the good story to the ones who are poor. He has sent me to mend broken hearts, to tell prisoners they have been set free, to make the blind see again, and to lift up the ones who have been pushed down—


“Finally, the vineyard owner had only one more that he could send—his much-loved son. So, last of all, he sent his own son to them. “‘They will respect my son,’ he said to himself.


We have come to know and trust the love Creator has for us. The Great Spirit is love. He remains in those who love and keep on loving, and they remain in him.


“I am the Great Spirit’s pathway, the truth about who he really is, and the life of beauty and harmony he offers to all. There is no other guide who can take you to the Father.


“Here is what he wants you to do,” he answered, “put your trust in the one he has sent.”


The one who sent me is with me now. He has never left me alone, for I always walk in the ways that make his heart glad.”


He did this so all will honor the Son in the same way they honor the Father. The ones who do not honor the Son do not honor the Father who sent him.


“The wrongdoings of neither he nor his parents caused this,” he told them, “but that the healing power of the Great Spirit would be seen in him,


I have written these things to you who trust in the name of Creator’s Son, so that you may know you have the life of the world to come that never fades away, full of beauty and harmony.
