These false prophets are of this world, so they speak the way the world speaks, and the world listens.

So he said to them, “You are from below and belong to the ways of this world. I am from above, and this world and its ways have no place in me.


Your message, which I gave them, has taken root in their hearts. Like me, they have chosen not to walk in the ways of this world, and so the world hates them.


They no longer belong to the ways of this world, any more than I do.


“The one who is greater than all speaks from the spirit-world above. The one who is from the earth speaks only about earthly things. The one from above speaks about the things he has seen and heard, but who believes him?


The great fiery-red sea serpent was thrown down from the spirit-world above. He is the ancient trickster snake, who is also called the evil one and Accuser (Satan). He is the one who takes the whole world down a false path. He was thrown down to the ground, along with all his spirit-messengers.


For a day will come when people will not listen to good teaching. They will gather around themselves teachers who will tell them what their itching ears want to hear.


“When the rich man found out what the dishonest overseer had done, he shook his head but admired the man’s craftiness. “Do you see what this means?” Creator Sets Free (Jesus) asked. “The children of darkness are sometimes wiser in the ways of this world than the children of light are in the ways of the spirit-world above.
