My much-loved friends, I am not giving you a new teaching but an old one, the same one you were given at first. The old teaching is the message you have heard.

The message you heard from the beginning was that we should love each other.


This is his instruction to us, that we trust in the name of his Son, Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One, and love each other as he taught us to do.


So then, let the message you first heard remain in you. If you do, then you will also remain in harmony with the Son and with the Father.


“You have been told to love only your own people and to despise others as your enemy.


So they took him to the council at Mars Hill (Areopagus). “Explain this new teaching to us,” they asked him,


“I am giving you a new road to walk,” he said. “In the same way I have loved you, you are to love each other.


My much-loved relatives, even though we are speaking in this way, we are sure of much better things about you, the things that come from being set free and made whole.


Much-loved friends, we are now Creator’s children. It is not yet clear what we will be. But we know that when the Chosen One appears, we will be like him, for we will see him as he truly is.


My much-loved friends, if our hearts are free from guilt, this gives us the courage to stand boldly before Creator.


My much-loved friends, do not trust every spirit, but test the spirits of the prophets to see whether Creator sent them, for there are many false prophets who have gone out into the world.


My much-loved friends, love each other, for love comes from the Great Spirit. All who love have been born of him and know him.


My much-loved friends, if Creator loved us like that, then we should also love each other.


And from him we have been given this instruction: the ones who love the Great Spirit must also love the members of his family.
