Psalm 102:2

Do not hide your face from me in the day of my distress! Incline your ear to me; answer me speedily in the day when I call!

Hide not your face from your servant, for I am in distress; make haste to answer me.

I will wait for the Lord, who is hiding his face from the house of Jacob, and I will hope in him.

Hide not your face from me. Turn not your servant away in anger, O you who have been my help. Cast me not off; forsake me not, O God of my salvation!

When you hide your face, they are dismayed; when you take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.

Make haste, O God, to deliver me! O Lord, make haste to help me!

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Answer me quickly, O Lord! My spirit fails! Hide not your face from me, lest I be like those who go down to the pit.

In your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; incline your ear to me, and save me!

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.

Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me! O Lord, make haste to help me!

Incline your ear to me; rescue me speedily! Be a rock of refuge for me, a strong fortress to save me!

But you, O Lord, do not be far off! O you my help, come quickly to my aid!

How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?

When he is quiet, who can condemn? When he hides his face, who can behold him, whether it be a nation or a man?—

Why do you not pardon my transgression and take away my iniquity? For now I shall lie in the earth; you will seek me, but I shall not be.”

Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear.

During those many days the king of Egypt died, and the people of Israel groaned because of their slavery and cried out for help. Their cry for rescue from slavery came up to God.

And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

Hear a just cause, O Lord; attend to my cry! Give ear to my prayer from lips free of deceit!
