Isaiah 60:10

Foreigners shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister to you; for in my wrath I struck you, but in my favor I have had mercy on you.

Strangers shall stand and tend your flocks; foreigners shall be your plowmen and vinedressers;

Kings shall be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. With their faces to the ground they shall bow down to you, and lick the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am the Lord; those who wait for me shall not be put to shame.”

They will bring into it the glory and the honor of the nations.

By its light will the nations walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it,

“And those who are far off shall come and help to build the temple of the Lord. And you shall know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you. And this shall come to pass, if you will diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God.”

And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.

You will say in that day: “I will give thanks to you, O Lord, for though you were angry with me, your anger turned away, that you might comfort me.

For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.

And some of them also I will take for priests and for Levites, says the Lord.

You will arise and have pity on Zion; it is the time to favor her; the appointed time has come.

“And the foreigners who join themselves to the Lord, to minister to him, to love the name of the Lord, and to be his servants, everyone who keeps the Sabbath and does not profane it, and holds fast my covenant—

to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn;

Be not so terribly angry, O Lord, and remember not iniquity forever. Behold, please look, we are all your people.

Then the Lord became jealous for his land and had pity on his people.
