But I acted for the sake of my name, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations among whom they lived, in whose sight I made myself known to them in bringing them out of the land of Egypt.

Do not spurn us, for your name’s sake; do not dishonor your glorious throne; remember and do not break your covenant with us.

The Lord determined to lay in ruins the wall of the daughter of Zion; he stretched out the measuring line; he did not restrain his hand from destroying; he caused rampart and wall to lament; they languished together.

Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness!

For your name’s sake, O Lord, pardon my guilt, for it is great.
